  • Our requirements:
    • We lend hardware in different countries, therefore we need a qualifier "Country" (the hardware is never exchanged between countries).
      • Keith: You can set up each country as a depot in HireHop. If you have multiple locations in any country then they can be specifically named. The number of depots in HireHop is unlimited.
    • We always lend bundles consisting of four single parts, which we want to be able to select manually for a lending process.
      • Keith: HireHop supports has virtual items which are numed and contains unlimited number of components that form autopulls. We also have packages
    • The single parts are different and have to be registered in the system with:
      • Four types: Antenna, BUC, LNB, Modem.
        • Keith: Each of these types can have different autopulls depending on which band they are
      • Two categories: Ku-band and C-band - Keith: See above
      • A type description as a plain text field for each type Keith: Each item has a description field
      • A unique identifier for each individual part - Keith: we have a unique identifier field which defauls to barcode but can be renamed. In addition you can store serial numbers if required.
    • The following classifications:
      • A manual classification: "in repair" - Keith: This is a standard status
      • A process-dependent classification into "in stock/available" or "borrowed" or "in repair - Keith: Standard
      • Aview of all single parts and classifications - Keith: Standard
      • A view of all available parts only - Keith: Standard
    • A rental process should be able to handle the following information:
      • Rental project name - Keith: Standard
      • Customer name - Keith: Standard
      • (Nice to have would be geo data: Longitude, Latitude, Altitude) - Keith: HireHop has custom fields on most collections, e.g. jobs, hire stock, assets, consumables, customers, labour, etc. You can create as many custom fiels as you like including geolocation. We could even create a small customisation for you that would show you a map location using Google maps by clicking on the location stored on screen.
      • Rental duration: The smallest unit is one day - but can be up to two years. - Keith: This is totally customisable so daily is fully supported. A rental period can be anything from a few minutes to open-ended, i.e. no termination date until specified.
      • Calendar overview of all rental processes - Keith: Standard.
